General helpful items while we camp –

Reinforce and monitor

  • Only walking around campsite/fire/ kitchen. There will be designated fields or play area for running.

  • Play games or work on rank pieces during down time. Enjoy the trip!

A Scout is Prepared

  • Check the menu ahead of time and plan accordingly for you/your scout to enjoy. Encourage to try new things but have a back up. After mileage of hiking and camping, kids can get hangry. Be sure to store any food you bring appropriately for the site (Bear Box etc)

  • Check your gear and clothing sizes regularly. Kids have growth spurts between Fall and Spring Camping :).
